What Tim DeTellis Can Do For You

I look forward to being with you and your team. I am ready to serve you in the following areas.

> Visit your center. Upon arrival, I would prefer to be taken directly from the airport to your center prior to going to the hotel. This provides me a first-hand experience and the opportunity to reference back to the visit during my presentation.

> Meet with you and key leaders regarding fundraising initiatives and team/leadership dynamics. With my background of overseeing a non-profit, you may want to have me provide some feedback and insight. Based on the travel arrangements, you can let me know when the best time will be to meet.

> Radio publicity prior to the event. If you have a local radio station that will host a phone-in interview, please have them email me for possible interview dates and time.

> Personal support to you in the area of communicating your goals and vision for your center. I want to know what your greatest passion is for your center so that I may clearly communicate your vision. People give to more vision than need. Upon us confirming your banquet, you will receive a survey from me to complete so I can better understand your specific ministry.

> Lead worship to help focus our heart's for what God wants to do through each person. The worship time flows directly into my talk.

> I will bring with me my Hymn Instrumental piano CD for you to play as the background music for the evening.

> We can have a phone meeting prior to me coming to your event. I always enjoy having the opportunity to talk about what your expectations are and what your desired out come is. It's also great to hear your heart for your center and understand the background of the people that give to your center. I look forward to hearing from you. Simply call me at 407-888-3060 and if I am not available, leave a voice mail and I will return your call.

I am praying for God's favor.

Lineup/Schedule

My focus is to support you and your team. While I am at the banquet I concentrate on my ending on time. No matter what time you provide me the stage, I will return it to you on time. I will tailor my content to fit whatever time table you provide. To maximize the potential of my presentation, I would appreciate 35-40min which includes the appeal time and worship time.

The appeal time flows directly from my talk. During the appeal time, I will walk your guests through the process of giving and filling out their pledge card. I will highlight any special projects for the coming year. I will make note of monthly giving in addition to a one-time gift. Everyone will also be encouraged to sign up to pray for the center and become a volunteer. I focus on VISION because people give more to vision than to need. When your donors believe in your vision, they will respond financially. My prayer is for God's favor during the entire banquet and that people will respond cheerfully.

Here is an estimated two-hour event lineup:

1 Welcome
2 Recognize special guests (board members & staff) 3min
3 Prayer for Dinner 2min
4 Dinner 30min
5 Greeting from the Executive Director and Vision Casting 15min
6 Testimony from Client 10min
7 Introduction of Speaker 2min
8 Worship Time (Tim DeTellis) 8min
9 Message (Tim DeTellis) 25min
10 Appeal (Tim DeTellis) 7min

Leading Worship & Technical Rider

Leading worship is a great privilege and honor. It may interest you that I currently lead worship three times a week in Orlando, Florida. Since I was 13, I've been leading worship. Thank you for the opportunity to lead worship at your banquet if your program schedule permits.

Listen to a sample worship medley: click here to listen

I would enjoy leading worship prior to my talk. During the worship time I will share the following four songs as a worship-medley: Great Is They Faithfulness, Step By Step, Open The Eyes, and Awesome God. During the appeal time while the guests are filling out their response cards and giving, I will play an instrumental version of I Surrender All.

Technical Rider:

  • Piano (properly mic'd) or electronic keyboard on an adjustable stand, and a sustain pedal

  • A vocal microphone like a Sure SM58 or similar and a boom microphone stand

  • Proper sound system to support your event size, monitor if possible

  • A lavaliere microphone for use during the speaking time or a handheld microphone.

  • CD player connected to the sound system for background music

  • Table in the back of the room for resources

Why have Tim DeTellis do the appeal

My talk "The Power of One" leads directly into the appeal time. At this time, I will have gained the trust and rapport of your audience so that I can effectively guide them towards a generous response. Everything I say and do leads toward the time of giving. This is also my area of specialty due to my years of experience in fundraising and leading non-profit organizations responsible for multi-million dollar budgets. Also, during the appeal time I lead the audience in a time of prayer so that they will give what God has placed on their hearts to give.
